Visible Grace is one of the many organizations working against the heartbreaking conditions orphaned children face in Africa. In 2003, Ashby Rauch founded Visible Grace as a USA based non-profit. Tired of the seemingly endless cycle of poverty she saw during her time in Kenya, she felt called to do something. Visible Grace was founded to help orphaned children get out of that cycle by way of education and nurturing. We believe that children learn best when they are being cared for physically, mentally and spiritually.
After 8 years of building a community of supporters, Visible Grace broke ground on the first building. In 2013, we welcomed our first child into their new home. Now we have a wonderful staff of people who care for the kids and the property and ten healthy, happy kids who call Visible Grace home. The VG board in Kenya and the VG board in America work together to make the best decisions for the kids while protecting the vision of the organization.
In the beginning of 2016, we broke ground on a second building. This will be a home for an additional ten children and staff. Our long term plans are to continue raising up leaders in our community and opening up more homes. We couldn’t do any of this without our generous, dedicated supporters.
